Queen's Birthday

The long weekend was the Queen's birthday. We celebrate the same day in the uk. The Queen is not only the Queen for the UK but also the queen for New Zealand. It has always been celebrated from 1748. New Zealand celebrates the queen's birthday because she is the head of state of New Zealand.

The reason why she has 2 Birthdays is because her real birthday date is on 21st on april. But since it is so cold she has it on the 1st on june so she can also have a proper parade. The queen is a monarch for 16 countries. Meaning she is the head of state for them.

Why do they celebrate it in june it is because of the weather it is normally cold and wet so if they were to hope to have a parade in june there could be only a 40 to 30 % chance of that happening without rain and wind.

What I did on that day was I had a nice day with my parents and we baked a little watched a movie. Played a few games and then for dinner we had steak which was nice and yeah that was about it.

I had a lovely time home with my parents and my animals it was great.
