Feijoa Pie

On Saturday the 23 of july 2020 me and my friend baked a pie. First we had to make a pastry which had flour, water and butter. You would first need to put butter and flour togerther and mix it so it would turn out like bread crumbs.

Then add 3 teaspoons of water and make it into a dough. Roll it out on flour and make it in to pastry. Then the feijous get heaps of fejious and put it in to a bowl and crush them into a watery mix then add a little bit of cinnamon and white sugar.

Then pour in the feijoa mix and put over the top more pastry and put the oven on 250c and leave it in the oven for 30 minutes. Then when you take it out you can have it with yogurt or ice cream.

Corona Virus

The Corona Virus is very bad it infects old people and baby's. I am a little worry and sad. The Corona Virus has ruined my sports life and other things like going to the shops going to see my sisters and travelling to London, Paris.

To help my family with the Corona Virus. My dad does clothing and he mostly gets the clothing from China. And to help my mum with work around the house. And to help dad with his work by making my own tops or dresses for his shop.

S.S Otaki Commemoration Service

On Monday the 9th of March 2020 at Otaki College we were remembering the S.S Otaki. At the start of this Commemoration we were welcoming in our guest.

Then when that had finished we all sat down and then Andy Fraser got up and did a speech. He then asked another guy to come and he was talking about how he had been on the ship and when he had saw all the ships being blown up Just the sound would be loud and your ears would hurt.

He also said that he had nightmares about it the noises the people screaming for help. When he had finished there were other men like the Russia convoy and the German ambassador.
After everyone had finished speaking we then had to watch some of the students bring reefs to the people that were to do with the S.S Otaki.

Then we had heard the bag pipes starting and then the people walked out like the German ambassador and Russia convoy and Andy Frazier. I found it very interesting and some of it was sad.
