The Pyramids of Giza

The Pyramids was Excellent. The biggest one was 146m high but now after years of erosion it is now 136m. The pyramids were mostly built for tombs for the old and young Pharaoh. There are tunnels that go inside it and there were some that were buried in there with there servants. We didn't go inside because there would be a lot of places when you would  have to crawl. The tallset one was built by Pharaoh Kaufu And the on in the background was built by his son Pharaoh Khafre. The small on was also built by a Pharaoh named Menkaure.

Dubai

In Dubai we stay at a hotel that had 5 hotels all together. It had little waterways throughout the hotels. You would go and hop on these electric boats and they would take you to dinner and breakfast. There was also a water park  right next to the hotels I went on that a few times and I got to say it was awesome. We went to another big hotel called the Atlantis and that was pretty big. There water park was the biggest in Dubai. Also we went to the mall and that was amazing and very big. Then we went to the Souk. That means Market, it was very nice to stay there and the hotels were amazing is well.

Getting ready for my trip to Egypt

On the 27th of September, I'm going to Egypt with my mum and dad. We have to get some injections first. Like the Rabies injections and the Hepatitis  A.  So first we fly from Wellington to Melbourne then from Melbourne to  then to Dubai.   

We stay in Dubai for a few days and then we fly to Cairo and stay there for 1 night.  Then we fly to Luxor and get on a big steamer boat and the stay on the Nile for 4 nights. We get back to Cairo and stay for 5 days. Then we stay at a hotel in Giza and the amazing thing about is that we are right next to the pyramids and the sphinx. After we have been in Cairo we stay in Jordan and Israel for a few nights. Then on the way back from Egypt we fly to Dubai then to the Maldives which is in the Indian Ocean. We stay there for 5 nights  then fly out to Dubai and fly from Dubai to Sydney then to Wellington. I think its going to be a good trip cant wait to get there and also go on the water slides in Dubai.

Holes

Holes is a book about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. He has been taking to a children jail were you have to dig holes. Stanley is also really big so he away's got bully at school. Are teacher is reading us the book well we do some task. The task that I really liked was when you had to draw Stanley and Zero under the boat. The book is very interesting in some parts and is a good book to get stuck into.
